Mind the GAAP takes your privacy very seriously.

This policy covers how Mind the GAAP treats personal information that we receive.  Personal information is data about you that is specific, like your name, address, email address, or phone number.  This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that Mind the GAAP does not own or control, or to people that Mind the GAAP does not employ or manage.

Information Collection and Use

Mind the GAAP only collects information when you explicitly register with us to access articles, blogs, podcasts, or other information published on our web site.

We limit access to personal information about you to employees of Mind the GAAP.

On certain web pages, Mind the GAAP uses industry-standard SSL encryption to protect data transmissions.  Note, though, that the form used to opt into receiving articles and newsletters is not subject to any form of data encryption.  Therefore, you should be careful when completing this form over unsecured Internet connections.

Your Ability to Edit and Delete Your Account Information and Preferences

You can edit or delete your account information at any time.  Simply login to update or cancel your account.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

Mind the GAAP reserves the right to modify or amend this privacy policy at any time.  The effective date will be displayed at the beginning of this privacy policy.  Mind the GAAP will also notify users of significant changes to our privacy policy by placing a prominent notice on our web site for a period of not less than two weeks.
